Capturing Alpine Beauty: Olga Editions x Charlotte Bourrus
We are delighted to present a stunning collaboration that brings together art, craftsmanship, and the essence of the Alpine regions. Olga Editions partnered with the talented artist Charlotte Bourrus to design and create two exquisite globes that celebrate the charm of four renowned resorts: Megève and Chamonix in the French Alps, as well as Zermatt and Verbier in the Swiss Alps.
In her workshop located in Bidart, Charlotte meticulously crafts miniature paper elements, each representing her interpretation of the Alpine landscapes. From characters and architecture to cultural symbols, her creations reflect the richness and diversity of these iconic regions. Each tiny detail is lovingly cut and assembled by hand, resulting in a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
To preserve and highlight these intricate worlds, the paper scenes are encased under elegant glass domes, creating what Charlotte describes as “bubbles of life”—self-contained, imagined landscapes that invite closer observation and deeper appreciation.
At ZOA Concept, we had the honor of contributing to this collaboration by designing and producing the concrete bases for the glass domes. Combining artisanal craftsmanship with minimalist design, these bases perfectly complement Charlotte’s artistic vision, grounding her delicate creations in a sleek and modern aesthetic.
This collaboration is a celebration of creativity, culture, and the breathtaking beauty of the Alps, brought to life in a truly unique way.
